Portillos Time

Here we go again..ha

So, after a meeting with some promoters team Eclipse decided we were only hungry for one thing and that one thing was Portillos in Buena park,CA. After already being across the street for the meeting, We figured it was only right we treat our lil hungry stomach's to some delicious chili dogs,hamburgers, chili cheese fries and some other stuff..ha This food is BOMB. It really hit the spot and I Waffles would recommend it to anyone who loves filthy food..ha

We been working on a lot of new things. the latest thing to actually get done tho is our mini commercial for a dvs shoe contest.. however, we didnt really go by how the contest was goin but we still used the opportunity to make something beautiful.. we work with a very talented filmer/director/editor haha.. Raul Sanchez. we made this in about one week! here are some pictures of him working hard.!

SUPER NACHOS!!??

It’s about that time for another food related blog post. I know everybody has their new year’s resolutions going, trying to stay healthy and all, but we are going to have to go against the grain a little bit. We’re about to let you in on a Gardena secret(Pssh not that many people in Gardena even know about it!)





Ahhh yesss Albertitas. Right on good ol’ Gardena Blvd and Western haha. Don’t let the run-down look fool you. (If you look real close you can tell it used to be a Taco Bell many, many years ago lol) It’s one of those spots you wouldn't think is worth trying. Fortunately, the food here is amazing. Actually, wait… We only really know about one thing that they serve here. SUPER NACHOS! It’s quality over quantity folks, what do you want me to say? There’s a reason why we only order Super Nachos lol. Look at this picture…



How can you blame us? Why would anybody order something different after seeing that!? You can barely even see the tortilla chips!! That’s how ridiculous this thing is. Look at all that meat and cheese!



Hopefully, this picture shows off the nachos a little better. Not only do you have the meat and cheese, but the tomatoes, the sour cream, the onion, the guacamole, the salsa. It’s almost too much. It’s definitely too much if you have cholesterol problems, so please stay away if you do…



As for the rest of us, we can afford to eat unhealthy every once in a while. So, if you’re already sick of your resolution, or you just want to eat some insanely bomb Mexican food. Head to Albertitas. You won’t be disappointed, trust me.

Tattoo Time

This is a coo looking football that Ron tatted on jeff. Jeff played football for Serra High School in Gardena. His love and passion for the sport still remains and this tattoo is just a reminder of how important that game is to him. BTW It's Ron's third tattoo..ha



Jeff's Mexican sugar skull with roses represents not only his ethnicity, but also his family. The red roses around the skull signify important people in his family. Its a cool Tattoo. To me his Tattoo looks like the terminator version of a sugar skull..i think thats dope..ha

GOODBYE 2010!!

WELCOME 2011!!

With the new year ringing in last night, and having an entire day to recover and think about what's important.. I decided it was time for me to get serious. i thought about everything that's been bugging me and there is one things that's been bothering me for years. Hopefully you guys can help me make sense of this whole thing and i can get past it already.

Have you guys ever heard the phrase "The Early Bird gets the Worm"?

I mean of course you have.. Its one of those things that moms say that are supposed to help you learn that getting up early is good for your or something.. Even though at this point parents really don't tell us stuff like this anymore, they'd just yell until we get up. I guess phrases like this nowadays are becoming less and less effective, because we just cant seem to make sense of them anymore. how many times have you actually seen a bird eat a worm right? I've gotten up pretty damn early before.. Still never seen it. Went to school real early and saw a seagull eating throw up once.. but using the phrase "the early seagull gets the throw up" would probably be counterproductive to getting someone to wake up early. But i degress..

So my problem with the "early Bird" phrase is what happens if u get up early and something gets up really early.. I guess in that case it didnt help you to be early didnt it?..









Similarly, what if getting up early and being the first to be there is actually a bad thing.. which is the case with mice.. Now the early bird mouse gets killed and then the late mouse actually gets the cheese.. Give you something to think about doesnt it?







And in my final thought about the "early bird" phrase.. not all of us can be birds. Some of us are worms.. So the early bird gets the worm, but then the early worm just gets eaten.. Well that really sucks. I guess this phrase doesn't work for worms. But if you were a worm, you really don't got a lot going for you anyways.. Living in the dirt and not being able to tell your butt and your face apart is a tough way to live.

And then of course there's this situation.. hah























All kidding aside.. Getting up early in the morning can't always be a good thing. And its not just for everyone. I enjoy burning the midnight oil and working while most people are asleep. Some of the most creative people around were known to be night owls.. Elvis Presley and Winston Churchill to name a couple. Creativity flourishes at night.. look it up.
