HAPPY NEW YEARS!
well well well my eclipse family. i would like to wish you very happy new year!! i would also like to thank all the people in our lives who help us carry on and work as hard as we do. and to all of our friends who constantly showing support you have all really helped us! now 2010 is going to done with and i must say i enjoyed it.. and i would like to leave you guys with some of my favorite memories from this year. because you guys helped make them.
my (ron) 21st birthday in las vegas.. soo much fun. too bad i got kicked out the club for being belligerent! oh well.

tattoo time
Hopefully, you guys like tattoos as much as we do. We feel it would be interesting to show the people out there some of the tattoos of Eclipse. We don't get em to show-off or be cool. Instead, we appreciate art and the meaning behind em. It's no joke getting something on your body for the rest of your life.
We'll be going one-by-one showing everyone's tattoos, check out the blog every couple of days for new tattoos.

Ron did that basketball and eclipse dude himself. He needed practice so he could start tatting us up ha...
Our friend Vicky did the box monster and bubbles. Like Ron, it was her first time tattooing someone. They're two crazy artists.
Ron got his Grandma's name on his chest becuase he loves her =). The name's pretty dope. Milagros Tan. Milagro means miracle in Spanish.
Well, those are Ron's tats. Hope you liked em. I'm sure he's gonna have more done in the future.

Vibes and Stuff
Yo! I had to let everyone out there know about this band called Francis and the Lights. They are like a breath of fresh air, way too much Drake, Rihanna, and Wayne on the radio.
Now, they are still kinda underground, but I guarantee you they are about to blow up. How could a band this good not??
They’re a little poppy, but somehow funky at the same time. It’s not like that Miley Cyrus pop, it’s more like that Michael Jackson pop. You know what I mean??
I feel like it has that 80’s Prince flavor to it. Listen to their song “Strawberries” and you’ll understand.
And BTW, I know most of you out there have listened to that new Drake album. They produced Karaoke.
Check this video out, let me know what you think. Please, just don’t listen to that one song. It wouldn’t do em justice…

INTRODUCING THE CREW
Welcome to my first Blog. This is Ern blogging straight from my 20 dollar computer chair in good old Gardena. My seat is uncomfortable and I'm a bit under the weather.. But I'm going to tough this one out and get you some info about Eclipse Clothing and what we're all about.
First off I was checkin out the blog and realized that there was a little something missing. You've seen the pics and read the names, but you probably don't really care hah because you don't know who the fack we are anyways. So hopefully this will help get the emotions going.
Lets Get Started..
Ronald Huertas AKA Ron, Ronnie, SHMONSTEROUS (basketball)
Ron is the designer and co creator of Eclipse Clothing. Ron's a true artist who can't help but paint and draw on everything(legally.. hah) His room, his folders, notebooks, tables, bed, thighs, Vikkies finger.. everything's got a bit of SHMONSTEROUS on it. He's like a closed vault that everyone can confide and know that their secret is safe. I can always count on Ron to turn an awkward situation.. just a little more awkward.. One of the most straightforward people you'll ever meet. He is exactly what he is, which is genuine. And he tells it like it is. The coolest dude on the block and one of the most accidentally funny people I know.
Rafael Navarro AKA Raf, RAFI, WAFFLES (soccer)
Rafael is the business minded co creator of Eclipse Clothing. Raf has one goal in mind.. and that's to make something of himself and bring us all with him. He's a gifted networker and always seems to know what everyone is doing all the time. He's got his clothing style on point and knows what he's doing when it comes to business. Raf can't help himself when it comes to having a good time. Always down to get into some madness and turn it into something that's going to help the company in some way. If there's a joke being told somewhere, Rafs probably somewhere close laughing. He seems to make everything just a little more fun. You can always count on Raf for anything, and he'll never ask for anything in return.
Jeffrey Barragan AKA Jeff, JB , TOO FAR JEFF (football)
Jeff is the guy who has his hand in a little bit of everything. He's like a big brother sometimes, a little brother sometimes.. and sometimes the creepy uncle. the nikname "TOO FAR Jeffrey " comes from his penchant for taking situations, jokes, and fibs way too far hah but we love him and hes an important part of what makes us Eclipse. You can probably catch him at the gym or local Gardena park workin out and staying in shape. He is most definitely one of the most unselfish people I know, willing to put in a few more dollars or a hundred on the table.. just so that we could keep the good times comin'. Always there to lend a helping hand Jeff is the kind of guy you want on your side.
Ritchie Guzman AKA Ritch, Gooz, GOOZMAN (ping pong)
Ritchie is our resident old soul. Although he's the same age as everyone else he walks around with an aura of wisdom that you can't help but respect. Always level headed and always on his grind, Ritchie is set to graduate college this year and be the first one in the crew to do so. Ritchie brings a whole different flavor to Eclipse. He's definitely unique in the way he likes what he likes and doesn't care what anyone else thinks. He doesn't push his tastes on everyone, but he's always willing to share them with us. He digs his nike dunks and loves his music. If you manage to catch him in his car he's probably listening to some Bob Dylan or a little DJ Quik. Coolest thing about Ritchie is he stays true to himself no matter what, and that's what Eclipse is all about.
Steven Rodriguez AKA Steve, Stevie, STEVIE TWO TIMES (baseball)
Steven is the guy with the heart of gold. Steven brings with him to the table a strong headlock and a big smile. If you've ever partied with us, his laugh is one of a kind and seriously infectious. Steven has an ever changing dialogue.. one week he's repeating the last word of every sentence and the next week hes sticking an S to the end of every word. Reading a text from Stevie is like deciphering a code. As much as his talk changes.. his style never has. Steven was wearing a Dodger hat, Levis Originals and Vans in 5th grade hah Growing up Steve was like everyone in the groups dad. He was always making sure we were taken care of. Stevie would give you the last dollar out of his wallet, and none of us would be where we are without him.
Kevin Corona AKA Kev, Kc, THE KID (soccer)
Kevin is the last and youngest of our crew. He represents a different generation of Eclipse. We put him through some stuff in order to hang out with us, and hes probably the only person we've ever tested to join the group haha we usually have an open door policy. We put him through alot because it's pure comedy watching him fight with his self on whether or not he really wants to be apart of us. Honestly he's a perfect fit. He's never had to try to be one of us.. He just was.. His personality is a little callus and he always looks as if he's annoyed, but damn is it fun to be around him. He's got a strong sense of family, as we all do, and he completes us more than he knows. Look out for his posts.. I know I'm excited to see what he'll bring.

Last butt not least myself. I'm the only full grown adult making funny faces and sitting at the kiddy table. Technically I'm Ron's big brother, but I've always felt like I'm everyone's big brother. I can always manage to become the final word, or the voice reason, or the catalyst of any activity we get into. And it's not a burden or a privilege, its just been my role. A role that everyone's pretty comfortable with me having. I'm the wordsmith, the teacher, the joker. I'll take a tense situation and make you comfortable, and than I'll take a normal situation and make it a little tense.. I love people. I don't really think I have many friends, so every person I am blessed to have in my life, I treat like family. The way I see it, I really don"t even have friends, I only have brothers and sisters. And I wouldn't want it any other way.
There are alot of faces missing. People that you'll see in our pictures and hear in our stories. These people contribute to who we are and what we want to do. They are just as much a part of Eclipse as we are.
This is Eclipse. We are Eclipse. You are Eclipse. Eclipse isn't a clothing brand. It isn't a style, or a fad. It's everything you choose to do. We choose to be here for each other. And we extend that offer to everyone.. We don't make friends.. We make family.
